We are a Hillbilly Rock trio. We play banjo, guitar, double bass and our custom made oil drum kick drums. Two of the songs on this video are our originals from our new album ‘Hipshooter’ which is up on Spotify and iTunes.

The Water Runners hail from Kiama/Gerringong NSW. We have been playing together in different formats since 2015. We are Neil McCann on banjo, mando and vocals, John Littrich on vocals, guitar and harmonica, Danita Harris on fiddle and vocals, James Turk on double bass and Dom Littrich on stand-up snare and vocals. Clayton Condon played original double bass before joining the army. Other musicians have also helped fill in over time. We have a performer aged in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s!
The Water Runners performs locally and beyond and as you’ll see from the video, we also busk. This video shows us busking on Peel St Tamworth, on Kiama’s main street and in the park at Kiama. We like to take the music to the people, especially during these strange times.
Our music can be described as bluegrass infused Australian folk/alt country. We write songs about Australia; its people, places, legends and attitudes and sing the odd cover too. Thanks for your vote!
My name is Reuben and I’m an 18 Year Old busker from Ballarat. I love to share my passion for music, and have been playing it for 70% of my life, while busking for the past 4 years. I really enjoy writing and composing music as well, where currently I am working on my first Original songs, written, recorded, and produced by myself and some friends.
Thanks to my mates Luke DeBuhr and Frasier Southee for helping with the filming of this busking video. It was enjoyable to finally get out and perform after not being able to perform for the whole year.
